Overview

The onset of cherry blossom signifies the departure of the cold winter weather in picturesque locations such as Hunza Valley, Phandar Valley, Skardu Valley, and various other parts of Gilgit-Baltistan, ushering in the arrival of spring. The cherry blossom season typically commences in mid-March and paints the landscapes with vibrant colors until the final week of April. This splendid tradition of cherry blossom viewing dates back to ancient times when nobility would compose poetry and revel in song beneath the blooming cherry trees.

Tourists from across the globe, including Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and many other countries, flock to Pakistan to witness this annual spectacle. The allure of cherry blossoms lies not only in the shape and hues of the petals but also in their embodiment of purity and simplicity. Many are moved by the delicate, short-lived nature of the blossoms, which scatter after just a few days.

During this season, visitors can also behold the blossoms of apricot, almond, apple, and pear trees in the enchanting valleys of Hunza and other regions of Gilgit Baltistan. We offer cherry blossom and spring tours with fixed departure dates, and we can also arrange private tours upon request. If you would like to learn about our fixed departure tour dates, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us. We extend a warm invitation for you to join our spring tours and infuse your springtime with vibrant colors and lasting memories.
