Overview
A thrilling three-day trek from the village of Askole leads to the base camp of Ogre and Latok Peaks. Situated at an altitude of 4200 meters, the base camp is a picturesque expanse of lush greenery with ample freshwater sources, creating a landscape resembling a soccer field.
Latok Peaks can also be accessed from the Panmah Glacier. This region boasts a cluster of awe-inspiring peaks, including Latok-I (7145m), Latok-II (7108m), Latok-III (6940m), Latok-IV (6456m), and Latok-IV SE (6450m). Nearby, you'll find other remarkable peaks such as Baintha Brakk SE (6960m), Choktoi (6166m), Lakpila Brakk (5500m), Spalding (5590m), and Biacherahi Towers (5900m). The entire area is a paradise for mountaineers and adventure enthusiasts seeking to explore these magnificent summits.
