Overview
Mashabrum Basecamp Trek takes you deep into the Karakorum Mountains to the base of the mighty Mashabrum Peak (7,821m)—also known as K1, the first peak surveyed in the Karakorum. Located in the remote Hushe Valley of Baltistan, this trek combines dramatic scenery, and close-up views of towering snow-covered peaks. The route begins from the village of Hushe, a gateway to several iconic trekking and climbing destinations. The trail leads through alpine pastures, yak grazing fields, and moraine trails, all the way to the foot of Mashabrum Glacier, offering majestic views of K1 and surrounding peaks.
